Today is my mom's birthday. I won't tell you how old she is. I mailed her package yesterday but she won't get it for a few days when she gets to Austin.
I am appreciating my mom and our relationship more and more the older I get. We talk not just because we have to, but because we want to. I enjoy spending time with her and I love to see her with my little girl. Mom always made our birthday's special when we were growing up and I like to try to do that for her now.
